  • Excalibur’s moto “Recurve, Simply Tough” coined
  • Introduction of the “SMF” Synthetic Mainframe System in 2011
  • 2013 marked Excalibur’s 30th anniversary of building high quality crossbows and accessories
  • Acquired by Bowtech in 2013
  • Matrix 405 introduced in 2014, the first recurve crossbow to exceed 400 FPS
  • In 2015 developed MICRO Gen II CRT limb system, creating the most compact recurve crossbow on the market
  • 2017 MICRO Suppressor introduced, the most compact recurve crossbow manufactured
  • 2017 introduced Sound Deadening System on the MICRO Suppressor making it one of the quietest crossbows on the market
