Re: New Handcocking device

Looks like a great alternative to a crank as long as the length you have to pull back is not longer than a normal cocking rope ,I am vertically challenged and long draw lengths are an issue. From my limited knowledge of pulley systems the traditional style of cocking rope is a 2:1 mechanical advant...

Re: TELL ME SOMETHING

The peep & fiber optic sights on the old models were just fine for hunting. You still didn't want to shoot more than one arrow at a spot when sighting in unless you were willing to buy more arrows. The only problem I had was a combination of old eyes and the failure of the FO front sight to ga...

Our muzzeloader season starts Saturday. Forecast is below 0°F Friday night. I think I'll let them live until it warms up some Sunday.

Re: Good bye my friendly companion.

Sad to hear. I had to make the same decision a few years ago for our beagle/jack russell mix, and it still bothers me. I know it was best for him, but it's one of the hardest decisions I ever had to make. He was well over 12 years old though. (a "rescue" we had for over 12 years - didn't know his ag...

No no no it's a new product Easy off is actually the new human scent remover, it works pretty good! :D
More of a cover scent, though. You would smell like a lemon as you run through the woods (and probably be screaming, too).

Re: Length of Excalibur ownership?

Started with a Vixen back in the 90's and upgraded to an Exocet (175#) a few years later.
Then the perfect bow (Phoenix) was introduced in 2005.
The draw length of the Vixen, with the power of the Exocet!
Got mine right away, and I'm still using it today! :D

neat Christmas gift

The landowner where I hunt gave me an "Outdoor Edge EDC" knife for Christmas. Someone gave him one this fall and he was so impressed when he field dressed the buck (7 point) he shot during gun season he bought one for me. (I did some plumbing & electric work for him when he remodeled his room with t...
