Re: Crank verses rope cocking

All I know is the shoulder is the poorest designed joint in the body and will in time become damaged just by the way it functions. This from the ortho that worked on both of mine. The back has a much stronger set of muscles and if you draw correctly should be fine. Ever watch A guy do a deadlift and ...

Re: Black Bear as tabel fair

Most of these guys are full of it. Bear meat is terrible so if you shoot one just get the meat to me and I will be glad to dispose of that nasty stuff for you !

Re: Antlers

Same here. I get pics every year of bucks into march with their antlers. Seems like here they just drop them so the next pair can get to growing !

Re: Antelope Hunting

I hunted them last year in Montana. I hunted them in the archery season which does not include crossbows. They were fun to hunt. I put some blinds on water holes but they seemed to be shy of them. I think if I had longer for them to get used to I would have got a close shot. I decided to try stalkin...

Funny part is Dr Saxton pope and art young basically the fathers of bow hunting took 100 yard shots at deer with trad bows quite often.

Maybe its just me but it looks like that deer doesn't move until the arrow is going through it ! Pretty amazing to catch that on video though.

Re: Length of Excalibur ownership?

I have had my Micro Bulldog 355 for 3 days now. Lol I have slowed down on bow purchases. I'm saving for a big hunting trip in 2019. I'll be 50 and it's time to spend my money on hunts instead of bows that I don't really need... :) I don't live to far from you so when is the bow clearance sale :D

Re: Arrow day

Not sure why but I made up a few shafts for the micro with those vanes on a helical twist and they all hit in a different spot. Re: How hot is too hot for you to hunt

Only time it was too hot for me was a couple years ago I went for the velvet hunt in Kentucky first week of September and it was 90 all week. The heat didn't really bother me but it bothered the deer as I only saw one out in daylight.
