Re: 2018 Boofest weekend

Whatever you think Don. Good doctor reports coming in the last couple months so it looks good this summer. Towed my monster trailer to Mosport with a buddy last Sept for the Camping World Truck Series and it made the trip well. Longest trip since owning it. Dog sitter will be out of custody. Mark it...

Re: What Happened

No concern here. Still have 4 of my long limbers. No plans on a new one in my future. More to do with money than not wanting a new smaller framed crossbow.

Re: Good bye my friendly companion.

We spent $3000 saving a beagle from 3 blockages in bowel. Phoned us at 12:30 in the morning saying he was dying and they had vets all set to go if we wanted to go ahead. He was in the vets for a week. Vet wanted a lot more and we negotiated price down and put it on payments. Vets you can negotiate p...

Re: Length of Excalibur ownership?

Will keep my Phoenix (2009) & my 110/90lb custom Vixen (2008 and customized for indoor target in 2012). Couple of others will/may be sold. Likely sell 4 or 5 Hoyt compound bows as well. Just a matter of when. Shooting hobby more turned to pellet guns and Airsoft spring pistols the past two years sin...

My guess would be some are testing them as we speak. Excalibur has their testers and like to make sure things are right before going to the general public. :)

Re: Rest in Peace .... Pydpiper

I comented early in thread but I mentioned this to my wife and she is very sad also. She remembers the two years he came to our campsite at the Paris Vintage Motorcycle Rally. I still can not believe this. :( :( I cannot even imagine how @RJ is doing with this news about a hunting partner. Hope he i...

Re: Rest in Peace .... Pydpiper

OMG! Not what I wanted to wakeup to this morning. He used to come visit me at the Paris Vintage Motorcycle Rally the years I went there. Have not talked much the past couple years with my wife being so sick. Consider him a friend. Wish his family and friends well. Scary world when people younger tha...

Re: Equinox Screw Up

Tell him you did it also. I am proud of leaving one cocking hook on the string and shooting it and seeing my blood squirt eight feet out. Never knew blood could squirt that far away from ones body. It was a lovely fine misted looking spray. The rope cocker handle smashed on my baby finger. Dryfires a...
