The Excalibur matrix 350 LE/SE crossbow was a limited edition production run and they only made 1,000 of them per Excalibur customer service. That is why you don't see it on their product page. My question is: What happens to the replacement parts, like limbs, risers, etc., on discontinued models? ...

Replacing inserts

I need a little advice. I have removed inserts from aluminum arrows plenty of times by heating the end of the arrow with flame. Is it done the same way for carbon? I want to increase the overall weight of my bolts by 50 grains so I can use Exact mechanical broadheads at 400 grains versus 350. Thanks...

Has anyone heard of a Summit Viper SI model? I found one on eBay new . real cheap. Same specs as the SD model. But never heard of SI model???

I may be wrong as I am not a chemist or engineer, but the way the fibres are layed for maximum strength it would be impossible to have smooth flawless limbs without them splintering.
