What prevents that from being adapted now?
Perhaps not a lot.
BUT I greatly prefer a scope over those kind of sights.
With this now out there, I would be downright surprised if a few of the scope companies ain't payin' attention...

Here's Hoping...

Re: A cool product at the ATA, Hypnose clothing

Looks and sounds from their descriptions a hell of a lot like re-branded hockey gear

Been wearing it for years...

Laser Ranging Sight

How hard could it be to transfer this kind of technology over and into a crossbow scope?

I would be REALLY interested if they could!!

Re: Matrix 380 Owners

My Matrix 380 was ordered as soon as they first came out. Had to wait a spell as I actually got dumped into the second run. Custom Boo String and Custom Arrows from Big John actually showed before the bow (and it has seen nothing but btw). It was worth the wait BIG TIME! :D This has become my Foreve...

Canadian Customs BANS "Centrifugal Knives"

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has decided that all " centrifugal opening knives " are now classified as Prohibited Weapons in Canada. This was not in response to a perceived problem. It is however a fine example of bureaucratic meddling: http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/cn-ad/cn18...

Re: What Happened

I still FIRMLY believe that for me, and my style of hunting, the Matrix 380 was and is the Best Bow ever to come from Excalibur. That said, I am not overly surprised that they are discontinuing it. You want to see something discontinued? If I LIKE it, that is where it is headed. Over and over and .....

400 grains On The Nose. And I do mean, On The Nose! Still shooting Custom Big John Zombies with Luminoks, and 125 grain field points & Spitfires. Balanced and designed explicitly for long distance shooting. And right effective at that... to 100 yards that is (maybe more - soon as it warms up w...

Re: Spitfire Performance

Not a " Long shot " by any means. I have made a LOT further many many times with the spits, and on all but one occasion have seen a complete pass through. Matrix 380, 400 grains all in. 125 Spitfires. The ONLY time I did not see the pass through was on a 300+lb Mulie. Check my thread The Badlands Bu...

Buck Humor

A 4 point, 2 point and a button buck are standing by a field browsing on acorns. The 4 point says " I'm happy with my 10 does, we're really getting along ". The 2 point says " I'm happy as heck with my 5, they really take care of me! " The Button buck says " My two are all right, better than nothing...

My most sincere Condolences! Our Furry Kids sure have a way of grabbing ahold of your heart! Tough business, but the right thing for your buddy. Our Big Boy is getting up there now too, and I am awfully afraid to face the eventualities... :( Remember the good times. And when the time is right, do co...

Re: Grizzly huntin in BC

I found this to be a rather refreshing take on the matter. Posted here for all those that choose not to look at Facebook: "Thomas Sewid: As a First Nations hunter who enjoys hunting bears, I am not in favor of this ban on grizzly bear hunting for all non-native resident hunters of B.C. I find it app...
