Re: Dr Stirrup New quiver

It was probably just the video that I saw that made it look so big to me. What is the weight like on the 3 and 4 arrow models?

Re: Carni4s

I do not judge broadheads as an Engineer or anything else other than "do they work". I have been shooting mechanicals since they first hit the market and have not yet had a single failure of one to open properly on an animal and I have shot way to many to remember them all. I have lost a couple of d...

Re: Spitfire Performance

No question, there is adequate analysis and conclusions here. I routinely hit too high. Most broadheads will do a great job with good placement. Some broadheads are more forgiving with less than optimal placement. Some broadheads have serious indelicate problems: 3 out of 3 Carni4s didn’t open, Rag...

Appears to be a Polartech product.

Re: Dr Stirrup New quiver

I lie the concept of the new quiver but that hood has to go. It sort of looks like the landing deck on an aircraft carrier. Huge. You think the 3 arrow quiver is huge? The video I saw at ATA sure made it look huge to me. I have not seen one in person and probably never will as I have not seen...

Re: New Handcocking device

Looking at the design I doubt that you can use this style cocking rope to decock a bow with. The ropes going thru each set of pulleys work independent of each other so you can't take all the slack up on one side to decock as you do with a regular rope cocker.

Re: The new Excalibur crank

It showed in the video decocking with the crank but in the photos it states on the mounting hardware . Warning DO NOT DECOCK WITH CRANK ! What gives > It's supposed to say do not decock with crank without wrist strap. They had the first run made without the strap. It's being corrected with stickers...

Re: 2018 ATA Show

I have found that range, dial and shoot works best on feeding deer and on food plots where you get plenty of time to do so. Most of my shots are taken at traveling animals that only give a few seconds at best to range and shoot. So I use a multi-reticle scope and range tress, rocks, etc. in advance....

When you mark the 100 yard line just pace off another line 9.3 yards back and tell Gaston "there's your line". He will enjoy being "spotted" the difference I am sure.

Re: assassin reveal

I must have missed it but is there a place for the cranking handle to fit on the bow when not in use? Every video I have seen shows it hanging from someone's wrist. All the other new bows I have seen with built in cranks have a place for the handle to fit into the stock.

Re: New Exclibur Trigger-- New Accessory???

I have always thought the trigger on my Equinox and 350 are very good ,impressive considering the weight they hold back. I do not care for hair a hair trigger on my x bow in hunting excitement with gloves on to light a trigger is no good.smooth with no creep is good. Also I feel xbow shots should b...

Re: The new Excalibur crank

What sells me is that it is silent. I like my C2 crank but the noise deters me from using it in the stand. I will be adding this to my "must buy" list for next year. Turn off the ratchet and hold on to the handle and it is quite. Flip the ratchet lever back on before letting go of the handle. I was...
