Re: HELP ME PICK A SCOPE!!

The hawke is also a very good choice.
I have on on my hha and its superb.
I have unfortunately gone through 3 shadow zone scopes with various issues.
Dan sorted me out every time.( gentleman for sure)
I cant recommend the hha and hawke enough.
Shooting 3" @60yd and every yard in between.

guardian hha?

Hi all, i have an equinox and just ordered the hha system on-line. I noticed the dovetail from the back of my scope mount is missing, this is as far as i can see to allow the speed ring room and for eye relief. I figured id kill two birds with one stone and buy the guardian system to mount the hha o...

Had the standard string on then as well. Boo string on there now. Doesnt seem to have affected anything accuracy awsome as usual... What mo...

Re: Swacker Broadheads

My advise is a fixed two blade for hogs. Min 500grain. Magnus are great flyers and the penetration is unmatched imo. Deer are a soft target where mechs have their place. Hogs are hard as rock in the shoulder. Heart lung shot is a must for quick recovery. Also a very heavy arrow..

Re: The XAct Broadhead

These broadheads are made by sullivan industries im pretty sure just rebranded for excal. Ive used them and they fly great with a big cutting diameter when they open. I use them on a heavy foc arrow as you can only get them in 100grain. I think a total weight of 420 odd is good.

Re: Bent vanes

I boil a pot of water and dip the whole end of arrow in for maybe 20 seconds. As the vains cool they straighten out perfect. Doesnt seem to affect the glue etc and works a treat.

Re: -Thoughts on Scope Sight In-

Use a range finder with arrow compensation like the chuck adams. Its not much if anything at 20 yds.

Re: Matrix issues

I dont know if you could say not typical peter. I have seen many posts regarding problems with excal scopes and i myself am on to my third. There is in my mind a common complaint and that is that excal has done a fantastic job of creating amaizing bows but let themselves down some by buying cheap ch...

Re: WARRANTY POLICY AND DISCLAIMER

The bow that was made for charity would be totally overseen by excal. A stupid point really. I think they are really talking about limbs, triggers and components that are vital to the bows safety and performance. They do say warranty will be at their discression. They are very fair and ive never hea...

Re: Has anyone shot the old Fred Bear 2 blade heads?

You cant compare them to magnus heads, I can shoot my magnus out to 50 with a 2" grouping. Very consistant with zero drift, i have trouble getting my mechs that tight to be honest. I think they are one of the best fixed blades on the market for xbows. Just my 5¢.
