Re: Crossbow Fishing...?

If you can find a used low poundage Onieda bow they are good fish bows. I've been using one for years for carp and gar.

Your favorite /Comfortable boots and a pair of Arctic shield boot covers with a body warmer rubber banded to your boot toe and your feet will be toasty.
THIS. My feet have always been miserable in the cold. Got a pair of these and no more cold feet.

Re: Thoughts on 308 Short

I'm loving mine. Got a Hawke XB30 for it. The scope is almost as big as the bow! My favorite Excalibur so far and its like the seventh one I've owned.

Re: 100gr Spitfire

The responsible answer is to shoot to confirm. I just wrap about two tight wraps of electrical tape to hold the blades closed. On a positive note, I have never had a Spitfire shoot differently. Good luck. I've done the tape thing with Shwakers in the past. I kind of thought the Spitfires might open...

100gr Spitfire

Got some 100gr Spitfires for thumping turkeys with my Banshee. Will they shoot to the same point as my 100gr field points?

Re: 308 Banshee Short reveiw

Rebel, Awesome that you purchased one and are shooting and enjoying it! What are your plans for the bow and what other Excalibur are you comparing it too! Can you share what arrows you are using to get them groups and their specifications? I bet she is just a solid thug when she is shot! Saving my ...

Re: 308 Banshee Short reveiw

Sighted my Banshee in this afternoon. This is my favorite Excalibur so far. Last group I shot had 3 Quills touching at 30 yards! Put a Hawke XB 30 on it, it's almost bigger than the bow!

Man that looks good! Will this work with any other fish, maybe walleye or crappie? ( No salmon in Tennessee  )

More compact than a Suppressor? Sounds very tempting. Wish I could see one in person!
