Re: Dr Stirrup New quiver

I like it . They say available middle of year. Its basically the catquiver arrow holding principal. I think exie should buy one with his hard earned dollar and then give a report. Then l will buy.one depending on his review. I dought they will have one in consumer reports lol.

A super light crossbow

Many times l have looked at my matrix bows and the micro and thought ....man they could easily shed 3/4 pounds off these things. Or maby holes in the rail (swiss cheese look) maby carbon fiber. Why not have the claim to have the simplest /lightest crossbow on the market. I would pay for a light weig...

Re: This close to getting a new XB!

Im 52 years old only 155 pounds soaking wet but in good physical shape but l have found it possible but difficult to cock a 335 micro or a 355 matrix in a tree. Sometimes you just need a second shot. My point is why over bow yourself when its not necessary. I dont and l can pull back a bigger bow.

Re: This close to getting a new XB!

Your only like 12 .....isnt that 380 a little hard on the arms lol. Why not a smaller step even a 355 is a lot more bow . The matrix bows are a lot harder to cock than the long limber you got now.Try cocking one at the dealer youl see what im blabbin about. I know there are cockers but its nice to d...

Extreme foc heavy bolts

When l purchessed my micro years back l wasnt as crossbow savy as now..l was shooting 150 grain boltcutters and 92 grain inserts out of gold tips. I now use a 110 insert and a 100 or 125 grain tip with a zombie with great happiness. But l recall the much heavier bolts that l was shooting way back re...

Re: Spitfire Performance

I never shot the sonic but i have killed both bear and deer with the boltcutter same cut as the sonic.Great head but the blood trails were night and day between a spitfire /xact compared to the boltcutter... where i hunt in jungley se pa. a blood trail is most important or you got a lost deer.I will...

Re: Spitfire Performance

Every shots different .....end result deer was recovered. 40 yards is basically kinda far . You did good l wouldnt worry about it. Im a big spitfire fan but im seeing in my kills that the excalibur xact cut im using this year is definitely penitrating further than the spits. It has a sharper point a...

Re: Micro VS Matrix

You cant go wrong with either one. If you had a long limber the matrix will appear a lot slimer. The micros are harder to cock than a same pound matrix. Im gonna get blasted . I have both and prefer the matrix over the micro. I also think they are more dependable. The 355 and smaller matrix bows you...
