Re: New Matrix 380 issues

I'm not sure. To be honest it's already back in the box and taped up ready to go back.

Re: New Matrix 380 issues

Thanks. A doe would be fine. I just want a freezer full of venison for the winter. I could care less about a trophy buck. Makes sense that with Excalibur's great <1% warranty claim rate that I'd beat the odds. They are the only type of odds I ever beat. This is why I don't go to the casino. :) Think...

Re: New Matrix 380 issues

Thanks everyone! Getting it swapped out. It seems like a really awesome bow besides the bad-luck defect :) Lots of people responding and helping on the forums here too. Very cool. I'm primarily a duck/pheasant hunter. This will be my first year for both archery as well as deer. I really hope I can g...

Re: New Matrix 380 issues

Well crap.

What's their turnaround time?
Know if they pick up shipping?

And thank you.

Re: New Matrix 380 issues

After drawing measure both sides from the limb tip to the very center of the stock at some point behind the trigger housing. They should be exactly the same. If not it could be the limbs are not a matched pair. I cocked the crossbow and very carefully measured (four times just to be sure) from the ...

Re: New Matrix 380 issues

Get on the left side of this page, look at the instructional videos, and reassemble the bow yourself. Make sure the rail is engaged correctly on the rail mounting, and go from there following EXCALIBUR'S instructions! Report back after that please. Break down the limbs and reseat them too? I've res...

New Matrix 380 issues

Hey all, I just purchased my new Excalibur 380 xtra crossbow this week. When I took it out of the box and assembled it, the string was digging into the string stoppers. I brought it to cabelas and they added a few twists to the string to straighten it out. They noticed however that the distance from...

Re: Anyone here chrono their 380 with a 375gr arrow?

Video looks pretty good. It's like those lazy easter egg decorations :)
As long as they work well on highspeed crossbows, wouldnt be bad for fieldpoints I would assume

Re: Anyone here chrono their 380 with a 375gr arrow?

Well, I am very glad you told me this. I have only fire the bow twice, but the bow came out of the box touching the black string stops. It's actually pushing into them a fair amount. I assumed this was OK as all the excalibur videos say the strings come calibrated as needed right out of the box. Is ...

Re: Anyone here chrono their 380 with a 375gr arrow?

Thanks, Im going to try the stick Diablo arrows with 125gr field points so I can later use the 125gr Grim Reaper XBow broadheads. Wish grim reaper made 150gr to keep it stock, but it's pretty close. Most broadheads seem to be either 100 or 150. I do not yet have the restringing tool but I will get i...

Re: Anyone here chrono their 380 with a 375gr arrow?

I do have two quick questions as a new shooter. I just got my 380. Fired my first few shots with it today. One of the bolts went all the way into the target. I was able to get the T extractor in there and pull it out, but the vanes were all destroyed. Can they be replaced or do I just get a new bolt...

Re: Anyone here chrono their 380 with a 375gr arrow?

I am looking at trying the Grim Reaper X-Bow 125gr (heaviest they make) for broadheads.

With the Diablo 18" arrows, which I believe are 250gr, they would come out to 375 correct?

I just ordered some 125gr field points to match up my practice weight with the broadhead weight.
