Look at it like a set of golf clubs you could try to play the whole course with just one club but you are much better off with a whole set of clubs
I encourage you to be the best you can be. :D
That's great! I am playing inside the rules as long as I have less than 14 bows!

Re: WI xbow season

We have an 800 number for game thieves. I would have tried to id him or his vehicle and reported him. As a side not I am almost always armed so his shotgun might not work out too good if he thinks I'm unarmed. Good on you for standing up for what's right...

Re: Antler Restaurant in Toronto!

I read about this almost a week ago. The protesters were horrified he started butchering the deer leg inside the window. Then the cops showed up and the owner and the cops were sort of laughing it up. I wondered if the owner told them to come back for a meal? He went back to the spam then came back ...

Re: Trail Cams

I tend to run more expensive cameras, unlocked. I hunt in my back yard on private land, so they are fairly safe. I also run HD video and really like that. My newer Browning cameras have sound, which is fun. I had 2 button bucks on camera sparing each other this year, brothers... :P I think I still m...

Re: traintohunt

I have no affiliation with this company but I like what they are promoting . http://www.traintohunt.com I thought I was in decent shape but had a rude awakening last year. In December 2017 I went on a weekend late Season black powder hunt in Michigan. I had to walk in deep snow and hilly terrain. I...

Re: United States Postal Service WTH

I have a friend that works at USPS, the place is crazy. After the stories I've heard, it is no surprise they lose money. The problem is the system is so big and entrenched it would be hard to reform...

Re: Check your local Walmart

Actually by definition an "assault rifle" is a select fire weapon. Semi, 3 round burst and full auto. No Ar-15 is an assault rifle! They are semi auto rifles that happen to look like assault rifles. There are much more lethal semi auto rifles on the market. Thankfully the people that commit these so...

Re: Hog Hunt = A Blast!

I think the knives and spears thing they do with dogs. Not for me either. A pistol will be next for me. Probably my .357 Dan Wesson. Need to find a good bullet for it, though. I bet that derringer is a Bond Arms gun. Probably a very large caliber [/quote] When I saw the derringer, my first thought w...

Re: Hog Hunt = A Blast!

When you look on they're website, they list weapons down to spears and knives. Then you browse the gallery. There are some guys using knives, spears and even a derringer. I'm ok hunting piggies with a .45 but not sure I want to do it with a spear or a knife!

I bought one for my Grizzly last fall based on some one elses recommendation here on the forum. It has performed pretty well so far. The illumination really helps extend the shooting time
