Asking as I am clearing quite a few hogs from local farms( no firearms allowed by the farmers) and if numbers climb into the dozens I am going to punished financially. Are aluminium shafts an option or same/price les...

Re: Thinking of trying out new vanes.....suggestions?

Try out the True Flight feathers I sent you! :D The initial thought is that they are not durable, but that is not necessarily true. I routinely just wash and dry feathers that have been through animals and re-use the arrow. As for control, I see no difference between 2" feathers and Blazers. ANd I ...

Re: Vortex Razor reflex sight

Just make sure the front lens does not give off a reflection as it will spook game. I had one some years back, and could not figure out why I was spooking turkeys, untill I had my wife hold the shotgun with sight, and I went out from 20 to 40 yds. away and nothing but a reflection off the sight. Got...

Congratulation on your spring gobbler. I have a wing bone turkey call that someone made for me, but never tried it my self. They do make some nice yelps.

Re: Hangin out in the turkey blind on a rainy morning

Had a wet one also today here above Hbg. The gobblers still seem to be moving, and have yet to here any hen talk. Now my hunting buddy's grandson put the hammer down on one this morning, after missing one first thing. But his grandfather was not with him on the hunt, as he was in the hospital the pa...

Re: Turkey day

Very foggy up here in central Pa. till 9:30 or so before it left. Had lone hen around 7 am. and at 11:45 3 Jakes came to check out the decoys. No early gobbling, later on ground prior to fog leaving. I think because they kept loosing their ladies.
