Re: Cub

This maybe why they released the Micro 315...buyers like you...!?

If you're less budget minded and want more perks, then definitely get the Micro 335. What a crossbow!

Re: Frustration with Excalibur

The Grizzly uses the standard matrix string. It's not true that no Matrix accessories fit it. There were lots of discussions on the forum about the fact that the Micro + Grizzly and 310 needed their own bumpers. True, their packaging should of updated though.

Re: Cub

My 2cents, it won't make a difference enough to matter on a deer under 40 yards.

Does the Sapphire have the same LOP as the Grizzly?

The same is just as easy with a 270lbs Micro!

Re: Opinions on the Matrix Grizzly.

I love my grizzly, only the trigger leaves something to be desired. 3 stages of over-travel sponginess.

Re: Grizzly FPS?

Excalibur rates its crossbows using 350GR bolts. That is to say; expect 305fps with a Grizzly, if one should shoot some 100GR heads since the shafts weight 250GR. A 150GR head will slow you down some, like 285fps ish if I had to guess. The 150GR head is said to have better penetration, better flight...

Re: Scopes for grizzly

Ya, I prefer having the higher end optic on the Micro. It's not too complicated, 20yard zero, next chevron 30yard and last chevron is 45yards.

Re: Scopes for grizzly

I got a Varizone on my Micro and couldn't resist upgrading to a Nikon.

I also got a Deadzone on my Grizzly and see no point in upgrading at this point. The deadzone is in a different class compared to the varizone if you ask me.

Re: Nikon Bolt on a MICRO 335

For confidence reasons alone, I would go with a Nikon Bolt. The Varizone that many Micros came equiped with feel like something you would see speced on a walmart air-rifle. No question, the optics and fit-n-finish are much better on the Nikon. On the other hand, if you got your bow speced with the n...

Strange that my Diablos fly good, no? I use 100GR heads exclusively.
