Signing up for the American Crossbow Federation

Crossbow Hunting

I'm not a big "Club Person" at all and I belong to the American Crossbow Federation.

I've had the pleasure of speaking with Dan on the phone a couple of times.

Dan understands crossbow politics in their entirety. He can put the anti's in their place in the blink of an eye.

In my opinion there isn't a better person for the job.

The magazine Horizontal Bowhunter has many crossbow answers in each issue.

I've read many articles in Horizontal Bowhunter where I discover something new that I wouldn't have thought of on my own.

Only if the take off their masks!

Of course you can, John. We have members from all over the world. The "American" stands for North America, not the U.S.. And last time I checked, Canada was still in North America. Heck we've even had some people join who move to the U.S. from Central America or there abouts, but that's another whole topic.

I think this post should be made sticky and at the top of the forum so new members will be reminded to join. I'm in...

Great Idea DrDan! If a few of us PM Peter aka "The Dude" maybe Peter would be so kind as to do that for us.

I'm going to PM Peter right now.

We appreciate the support, Gentlemen. Bill T. and I were talking on Monday and he volunteered to put a banner any where on the site that will take anyone interested right to our site to join. We believe, of course that the forum page would be the best place for that banner. Bill has been one of the leading supporters of the American Crossbow Federation since its inception and is one of the premier columnists for the Horizontal Bowhunter Magazine. Above all, he is a very good friend. So it really won’t be necessary to email “The Dude” as your idea is already being put into action. However, that doesn’t change the fact that you guys are the greatest! Thank you.

A bit Off topic, but...

Anyone know why the American Crossbow Federation isn't a member of WCSA (World Crossbow Shooting Association)? Or is this a hunting only federation?

Dutch - The big difference is the postal charges to get the magazine into Canada. It is almost criminal, in my humble opinion.
