Postby Excalibur Marketing Dude » Thu Apr 14, 2011 10:06 am

I have been asked many times to write a cookbook offering all my easy Wild Game Recipes. I did not want you to wait until I completed a book, so we have decided to post my recipes so you can enjoy now. Keep coming back to our website to find out what to cook next with your wild game.

Kath Troubridge

Kath will be updating the recipes on a regular basis so it is worth while to check out this section! I can tell you from first hand experience Kath's wild game cooking is amazing. Here is a link to our new Recipe section, enjoy!:

Hi Kath,
New to the site and still getting setup with my new Exocet 200.
I have a ton of great wild game recipes from the past 40 years of hunting the B.C. wilderness. Are you interested in getting some of my best ones to try or share with the good folks here?

JakeinTX, an Old guy in Maine once told me the best way to cook Bear.
He said you take a big pot fill halfway with water, cut up some carrot, potatoes,& put the bear meat in there then throw in a 3 lb rock, let it cook for about 5 hours, then take the bear meat out throw it away & eat the rock.

Ditto to new2crossbow. I have a recipe I'd like to
share as well. Or can we start a thread of our own?
Direction needed.

RE. bear meat. We held a wild game event at which the bear dish was considered the best of the many
dishes we offered. Don't knock bear meat until you have tried it. My dad once cooked up some bear
meat and took it to an office party! he didn' tell them
what they were eating till after the meal. They were
quite pleased with it.
