NO, NO not that kind!


I picked up a cheek piece at the show and like others tried to snap it on with no luck, but I remembered the tip to heat it up, so I placed it in a bowl of hot tap water for 20-30 seconds and it went on super easy.

I figured I'd share,this idea, being there less chance of over heating it with tap water and it's quick too.

Once you snap the cheek piece in place can it be adjusted or does it only fit one spot on the bow?

Can it be removed to put on another bow??

No adjustment once it's installed, a screw holds it securely in place, but it is removable to be used on another Xbow if you want.

I picked one up last week also and like you could not get it to click on thinking I would end up breaking it, then just as I was going to get my hairdryer out, I guess I pushed it just the right way and "CLICK" it went right on without heating it up.

When I installed mine I couldn't get it to "snap: down so I layed a small flat piece of wood across it and a large C clamp, just slowly tighten it up, Snap! Done
