Post by longbow joe » Sat Nov 05, 2016 8:00 pm

Image[/URL] had 2 seperate high racks come in to grunt n decoy combo was a great day in all but usually by now we have non stop action not the typical dusk n dawn action. Hopefully next week their daddys will be cruising.

The big ones here never chased from what I have observed in person and on my trail cams. They went from hanging out with the boys to tending the girls. I've seen smaller bucks chasing does the last four days, though. But the big ones aren't running does down. They seem to just hook up with them with little effort running them down. I have seen big bucks tending does and running other bucks off three of the last four days, two in person and one on a trail cam at night. The other odd thing is that all of the big bucks I've seen in person and on trail cams are resident deer. I usually have big bucks come in during this time that I've never seen before. That hasn't happened.
