Typically any new gear is unveiled at the Archery Trade Association (ATA) show. The next show starts January 11th of 2018 and is being held in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Hopefully it will be one that you can switch sides with the handle . I hope it comes out sooner then later as I could use it now .

They said last yr they were comin out wid the C3 this yr. It would be nice but i can use my C2 on the 2 Micro's, they are the ones that are the stoutest to rope cock fer me. So i don't i jus use the C2 n they are strickly Huntin models now. :D

Face it, many of us can't cock our higher poundage Excals. Likely, none of us should. As mentioned many times, I'm a long range shooter, 75-100 yds depending on whether I'm shooting the 380 & 405 with the XB75s or the BD400 & 405 with the Optimizers/Duralyts. The C-2 tightens groups! So I use it but wish I had a stock mounted cocker like the other higher poundage compounds have. I'd be impressed if one could fit both Matrix and Bulldog type stocks. I'd get one for my BD and am #1 on Wyvern's list if it goes on the BD, which is a no brainer. If one comes out that fits both or just the Matrix, I'll see if I get one for my pretty well accessorized out M405.
Excalibur knows what is needed. They'll come thru.

How much do you want to bet?lol
Nothing now. My understanding is that Oct was the target date.
From a marketing point, September would have been better. However, we don't know all the factors.

What is the difference between the C2 and this new C3?

My guess would be some are testing them as we speak. Excalibur has their testers and like to make sure things are right before going to the general public. :)

It's pretty obvious that the bulldog/bullpup stock design was made for an integral cocker: don't see that on the Matrix. For actual hunting, I like my xbow as uncluttered as practical. A field quiver (canvas target quiver) with my expandible broadhead tipped arrows as well as a C-2 crank, both, in my pack beats having them on my Xbow. However, I hope and think I'd like an integral cocker on my BD400.

This late in the game, maybe Excal is waiting for the archery trade show. There may have been last minute problems of some sort. Better to get them straightened out ahead of time if that's what happened.
