This really is a deal! Including Twilight scope even. $672 US dollars!

I have 2 M405s and a M380: all very nice. And a BD400. I'm warming up to the BD, IOW's it growing on me. It's getting to go on at least 1/2 of the evening hunts.

$672 for a lifetime warrantied xbow of this caliber is exceptional. Even the scope is nice as far as I'm concerned. This, as a kit, is getting into the low price range.

I just think that if people just tried the BD400 for a while, they'd be impressed. Extremely accurate, acceptably fast, relatively light, very easy to maintain, excellent handling, lifetime warranty, , just a top line xbow ready to go for only $672!!!

With 4 Excal's already, my marriage would suffer if I even considered it.

Bull pup stock.
Trigger is more forward and has a linkage instead of a direct trigger pull.
Better balanced bow

All around awesome!! :)

I had a M380 & 405 for years before getting the BD400. I had trouble adjusting to the BD. The M380/405 just felt better. This year , I forced myself to use the BD400 for most of my hunting. I'm getting to where I prefer the BD, especially for long distance walks to the stand.
The BD400 is a class act xbow that needs no changes plus it's obvious that the stock is made for the addition of a permanently mounted cocker. I recently used a Twilight scope and was impressed. This price compared to compound and other Excalibur models is a steal! If people only knew how great this xbow is and how great the price is, They'd be sold out in a day!

If I bought a 4th bow, the wife would learn how to use one and consider me "big game".

As nice as it looks, I don't know that it is worth selling off my Matrix 380 for one. I'll just keep watching this thread and see what other testimonials show up. At least I'll have a discussion topic at my next Excalibur owner therapy session...

Question - Did Excalibur do the blackout on this model or is it done outside of the factory? Just trying to figure out if this a 100% Excalibur produced item. Thanks for any info
