Arrow cutoff saw

Post by gerald strine » Fri Nov 10, 2017 8:03 pm

After reading about the Harbor frt cut off saw on this sight being used on arrows ,and my local bow shop now charging $2 to cut a arrow I decided to get one as I have a bunch of bolts that need cut for shorter rail length and I like to make my own bolts at home.
Well I got it today and it works great nice clean cut , looks very square but I have a Arrow squaring tool to finish anyway.
I bought from E bay and would recommend this as a much cheaper alternative to a arrow saw, also I have read a lot of re-loaders use this saw for cutting brass down.

The Arbor Freight Mini Cut Off Saw has been cutting my arras for almost 9 years now. Back in the day when I bought (3), I found then on sale in store for $15.99. I bet they must have doubled in price since then.
Pretty easy to cut square arrows with it.
