I think I saw the same video on another site (couldn’t open your link)
All I can say is the buck could have skewered that guy at any moment...not sure if I’d have let that bugger get so close.

We have an off post training site we use here at Ft.Bragg that has tame deer they walk right in to the training area while we are working with the students. You could ask anyone on bragg if they now of training site XYZ and they will say no, but if you ask them if they have ever heard of the place where the tame deer are located they say oh yeah! I have no idea how, or why
