This article explains a lot.

I'm already planning next year's hunt.

A "nature preserve" bought up land next to the farm I hunt a couple years ago. I'm guessing that's where the deer are in the daytime now.
I may have to look for a new place to hunt next year.

edited to add:
Pics of this one about every night - looks like he has an injured leg, and I'd be happy to take him out of his misery.

Next year I will set up my Ground Blind further from their trail and the corn pile. I think my presence is a contributing factor to why they only come around at night on my friend's place. I may also try using the Ghost Blind out in front of the Ground Blind to help conceal it and make them more comfortable with their surroundings. I do set the Ground Blind up several weeks before hunting season.

Good Luck!!

I didn't read the article but where I hunt there are guys that hunt all around me. They all put out corn for bait. I usually see where they put the piles and then set up back on a trail that leads to it. Usually the deer hit the bait after or just before dark so they are passing me in the daylight . Worked pretty good so far and saves me spending money on corn for bait . Sometimes you have to use other hunters to your advantage too.LOL
