Crossbow quiver you can close and carry on your back

Post by okie143 » Thu Dec 21, 2017 6:00 pm

I am looking for a crossbow quiver that I can put my arrows in, with broad heads, close the top, sling it on my back and walk thru the woods, briars, weeds, etc., to my blind or stand or stalk hunt.

I know I can use a back pack but that is to bulky and then I would want to put a bunch more stuff in it as well.

I don't want the bolts exposed that is why I want it to close, as I sometimes have to crawl under, around, and thru briars and rocks and stuff.

I don't really want a hard plastic case but maybe a leather one.

My brother just used his quiver that mounts on his crossbow and by the time he got thru the briars and stuff he was minus one arrow with broadhead.

Anyone have one they made or bought?

I used to use a rancho safari catquiver 3 for my longbows sometimes lts a shame they dont make a crossbow version. It had a cool small backpack and a protective arrow holder incorporated in it.

A friend of mine shoots expandables and he made a pvc tube for his day backpack . He glued a bottom cap on and bolted the pvc tube thru the backpack verticle. The bolts can be zipped up if wanted or the zipper a little open if needed. It really dosnt even seem to rattle that much when 4 bolts are in it. When in stand the pack is hung in reach and the zippers open for easy access. I really like it.

it covers your arrows - should be adaptable for bolts - should fit any quiver or back quiver for that matter

I've got a couple of the Easton Archery Arrow Tubes (totes) and love them. Maybe not what you're looking for because it's plastic but you can fit as many arrows as you'll want for a hunt and your arrows will be g auraunteed to be secure....about $18 on Amazon.ca and $25 at Cabela's Canada.

Another real bonus is that you can adjust the length of the tube to accommodate different arrow lengths....even full length compound arrows if needed. I really like them.

This might be perfect if the broad heads can be on the arrows also.

get the arrow holder tubes - cut just big enough to slip over broadheads as extra protection then fit in cover

I'm looking at my Chameleon Outdoors Dawg Ware quiver for traditional archery and it might do the trick nicely. It holds 6 arrows and has a 2 pockets. I looked on the net but cannot find one. However, this comes close even with 16" arrows https://www.3riversarchery.com/bow-mate-elite-side-quiver.html

Thanks that looks like it would work but too expensive for what I was looking for.
Found them on the site below. $130.00

Thanks anyway.
