ignitor lighted nocks

Post by bobcat » Wed Dec 27, 2017 3:43 pm

i saw some good reviews on them so i bought a set. i shot a few times and they dont seem very bright but it is middle of the day. Any input on these? im trying to decide if its worth setting all my practice arrows up to the same weight nocks and losing some FOC. they are 40gn compared to 10gn plastic nock.

Which color did you get? I use the green nocks and love them! They are their brightest at sunset or early morning. I just need them to find my arrows because I’m color blind! Good luck

I use the Green ones to. They make finding arrows a lot easier.

Green also, and the batteries are supposed to last longer with the green ones.

I have red and green and have trouble seeing the green after low light conditions are over so I mostly shoot the red ones. I shot a doe at 35 yards a while back about 9 AM and could not find my lit up green nock out of my stand even using binoculars. Never had this problem with red nocks. Once I got down and got about 15 yards away it was easy to see but it just faded out at longer distances. I have noticed the same thing while target shooting using both red and green. The red stands out a lot better.

i was worried about the heavy nock inserts in the back throwing off my foc but i just shot a 3/4 in group at 50 yards with them. well with the same arrow shot 3 times. one went through the same hole. more testing is needed when it gets at least into double digits. its only 4 degrees here right now.

I use the ignitor with the green light and really like them. I did shoot my fall turkey & didn't find the arrow, even with the lighted nock & even used a metal detector & no find. I blame myself for not knowing what direction the arrow went after passing through the turkey. When hunting out of a ground blind your arrow can go any direction after passing through the animal. not the same as shooting out of a treestand when shooting down & your arrow ends up stuck in the ground.

I love these nocks. I use the green which are plenty bright in the woods and look great when filming kill shots
