On the Matrix, you need to drill 2 holes. With the Micro, it just bolts up. On older bows (Exo series) with no metal rear stud, it just bolts on and 2 holes need to be drilled. On older bows with metal rear swivel studs, 2 holes are needed and a tad of the plastic stock has to be removed on the top edges.

All I have to do is place the mounting hardware where it needs to be on the Matrix stock and trace the holes and drill . Nothing extra needs to be purchased to retro fit it ?

Just drill out the holes and mount the bracket.

I have another question if I have more then one bow that can use the crank can I get just the mounting hardware ? As it would be stupid to have to buy a whole unit .

I think it's a foregone conclusion that it's available. I've asked Peter what the story is.

What mounting hardware is needed? It takes a stock with 2 holes drilled. The unit pops on and off the bow as I understand it. Like the C2 it should interchange between any bow that is properly drilled out for it.

I'm sure the hardware will be available separately for people with multiple crossbows. The focus right now is getting the new crank out there and then we will come up with a way to sell the hardware but its pretty much a no-brainer.

there are two small metal plates that mount to each side of the stock using those pre drilled holes. Then the unit will snap onto it
