The best Broadhead weight for my Assassin.

Post by Hilda » Thu Feb 22, 2018 9:27 pm

I just bought a new Assassin. I have hunted with an Equinox for several years. The Assassin came with100 grain field points. I have always used 150 Grain field points and Boltcutters. I don't know if 100 Grain Boltcutters will be heavy enough for hunting, mostly Whitetail Deer. With the Quill Arrow that only makes 350 Grain total Wt. I'm sure Excalibur tested different weights before selling this bow, but I'd like to know what you think?
Thank You,

They will work fine, but I think you'll find that most people tend to up the weight. The most common common youll find is 400 g

If you look at the top of the page somewhere there is a "most common weight" thread
