Turkey blind confession

Post by longbow joe » Wed Jun 06, 2018 9:35 pm

Yes lm gonna come clean l was thinking about it today and laughing out loud..... l confess that l brought a large shrimp ring into the doghouse blind one evening this past turkey season along with a bag of jalapeño potato chips and ate every last morsel by dark. (Not the tails)And l would and probably will do it again next year! But it is by far the most outrageous food l have ever taken hunting.

This year I ate a can of tuna and an Avocado. The keto diet makes it tough to eat away from home. Lol

The good news is wild free range meat is the preferred source of protein.. ;)

One time I was having no luck in the morning, so I went into town and we got turkey club sandwiches for lunch.

Didn't help.

Smoked smelt sandwiches. Stinky but awesome. At least according to the weasel that harassed me til I gave him a chunk. Saw no deer.
