[quote="A.W"]It's been a year since I last asked this question. Our membership has increased to 372, although not all members are active. So here is the question again.

A.W. Just wondering how we were doing with the totals? What was the total a year ago? With this much combined any visitor or member should have the answer to any situation that has ever occured afield or otherwise...I have not seen a reply yet that said DUUUUHHHH...I JUST DONT KNOW...but I have thought it a few times

OK. DEER HUNTER. Last year, if memory serves correctly, it was in excess of 1100 years. I tried to find the archive to check but couldn't.

Found it. Total was 1117 yrs. The first time I aked this question was on the old forum. The last time was back in February 2003 on the new forum so it hasn't been a year yet but an update wouldn't hurt.

Here's the link to the last one.

Licenced since I was 16 , I'm 42 now so 26 years licenced , my best recollection started seriously with my Dad and Grandfather at 8 so :

662 from the last post total (Diggers) + 26 = 688

Let's see what year was it Daniel and I came over the Cumberland pass into Kentucky??

Was that before or after I taught Ishi how to make and shoot a bow?

That could have been about the same time me and Davey grinned down that 'bar together up in the Smokies..

REALLY....

Killed my first rabbit at age 10 with a scattergun.

That makes 53 years of hunting.

34 years with a bow...

Although I was hunting moose with my Dad since I was old enough to walk, I went on my first actual moose hunting trip when I was 14. That was 31 years ago, so that makes the total 902 years!!
