Bolt cost..?

Post by Guest » Mon Sep 15, 2003 8:05 pm

I have a dozen XX75 2219s with Bohning low profile 5" vanes and 100 gr. field points ordered from my local shop.
Just curious what the cost is in other areas for the same or similar bolts.

Thanks,

Carl

The last dozen I bought from Gagnon's in Oshawa, Ont. cost me $60 Can or about $44 US. Thats buying 2 six packs of Excal. 2213, 2216 or 2219s.

normally 4.50-5.00 bucks a piece. sometimes less. raw 2219 shafts are fairly cheap. fletching at our shop is 1 dollar a shaft for new ones-2 a shaft if we have to clean it first.

That is a good price!........ To get arrows refletched around here, you pay $4.00 per arrow. It can get pretty expensive at that rate, one is much better off buying a fletcher, and doing the job on his own...

Lone Wolf-that was me that posted the refletching prices. We also charge only a dollar to refletch shafts that were bought from us. (we don't sell arrows-just shafts but we will fletch etc shafts bought from us).

Lancaster Archery Supply sells them for about 3.75-4.00 a bolt-depends if you get the cheaper vanes or the more expensive feathers
