Who's Your Favorite Hunting Geek!!!

Post by OK. DEER HUNTER » Tue Sep 16, 2003 10:23 pm

Lets see who your favs are....Try to base your decision on true hunting ability and not how much they are worth today or how much they can spend to shoot a pen raised deer. Think about vidoes and TV shows you've seen and how they have contributed back to hunting or hunters and how they have impressed you. Even tell why you picked or add someone new, or pick two or three, but tell why, obviously there isint room for everyone!!!!!! I'm gonna go with Dad and Grandpa cuz if it werent for them I wouldnt even know who these other guys are. And I am gonna add Jerry Martin cuz Bass Pro Shops is cool!!!

Gotta love the Nuge! Maybe outspoken and a little harsh with some of the things he says but he has always stood up for hunters and shooters in both the US and Canada. He has true respect for the land, plants trees, educates youngins, and he plays killer rock'n roll. Stand up for what you believe in and never be afraid to speak about being a hunter. A superstar who's not afraid to get his hands dirty or work up a sweat improving wildlife habitat.

To be honest, I've learned more from Woody Williams and RJ in the last two years then all those guys combined. (the rest of you guys too, don't feel left out)

My kids could do a better show than Jackie Bushman!

Mike (RL), you've said a mouthful. Those "TV celeb geeks" have only one ulterior mood. The ALMIGHTY DOLLAR. If their 1/2 hour infomercials happen to impart a little bit of knowledge it's just to the naive and uninformed.

....just my 2 cents worth.
