Man what great news!!

I'm getting excited in the anticipation of Chase's hunt. This is better than going on a hunt myself.

Let's see hog - turkey - and then the bear. WOW!

That young man has to be flying high...

Steve,

We appreciate you keeping us well informed on here.

..and we are truley grateful and blessed to be a part of this...

We'll also be setting Chase up with new camo clothes, boots, fanny pack, compass, etc.

I'll keep you all posted as best I can as all of this unfolds. Once again from the depths of my soul, Thank You.

There's a few good ideas for those who want to help out...

Thanks Steve for the update..See you soon.

P.S. I hope you have started dialogue with the two retailers I mentioned.

U$D - 585.plus some change CDN$ 786.plus some change

Way to go gang. What fantastic effort and results by the members, friends and associates of the Excalibur Crossbow Forum.

From The Bow Shop:

"Hi Mike, Craig here from The Bow Shop. I have a tree stand set aside for
you here that you can pick up at any time. Hope all is going well."

All, this treestand will be given to B4K for use as a raffle item for Steve's rendezvous in June. These raffles raise money for B4K to support their kid's programs.

Again, THANK YOU THE BOW SHOP.

Digger - thanks. Will let you know when it arrives.

ALSO,

I proposed a MacKenzie AimRite Bear target to Archer's Nook and they graciously agreed! Steve decided this is an excellent addition to his raffle in June, and it will bring good revenue for him. I left a message for Richard at the Nook and will make arrangements to pick this up unless he decides on some other donation.

THANK YOU ARCHER'S NOOK.

Steve is working on getting another bear target for Chase from a local supplier down there.

Man this is going well!

I picked up the treestand tonight. It is a Remington model 30-30 hang on stand, weighs only 13#. Free safety belt and video included.

Thanks Craig and George, it is a very nice donation and should be well received by B4K!

All,

Steve Pray contacted Jeff Lamb about the videoing the bear hunt. All concerned figured it probably wouldn't be a good idea since bears don't take much to scare into the next county. BTW - They cant bait for bears in Georgia.

They are going to try and video the turkey and/or the hog hunt. I've got dibs in for the first copy!!

I'm going to make a "supreme sacrifice" here. I'm giving Chase one of my collector's edition "Woody's Taxidermy hats".

For those on here that don't know what a "woody's hat looks like here is a picture of one of my collector's edition "Woody's Taxidermy hats" on the buck I took this year.

They are in MUCH demand in Georgia..

Chase's hat will be a brand new, never worn, still has the tag on it hat.

Everybody in Georgia will be envious of him....

Woody, I've heard it about you before so I'll say it again.

"you're a champ of a guy".

But how are you going to keep your ears warm now?
