Flemish string $22.50 TYD

Post by davesonic444 » Fri Nov 13, 2015 4:17 pm

These are pre-stretched and served with .036 Majesty. I make them 28 strand and serve them under 400# pressure. Guys with 405's report back that they have only had to adjust them 1 to 1 1/2 twist to brace. I am available to talk or text as i will pm my cell number if asked. I accept M.O. or Paypal.

Try one if you don't find that it is not worth the money, return it for refund.

For these strings I only use Dynaflight 97, I feel anything else may cause limb damage.

Also notice there is nothing in the picture to keep the string from unraveling. I make quality strings that don't need a lot of fuss.

I am pretty new to crossbows and although I'm picking up knowledge with a fast learning curve, don't really know anything about the Xbow string differences.

What exactly is a "Flemish" string and why is it different than a "standard" string?

Is 28 strand the "norm"?

If not what are the pluses or minuses of 28 strand vs something else?

Do you have different colors/can the colors be chosen?

Thanks

The difference is that flemish strings are only served in the middle and don't depend on serving to hold them together. They have more material in the loops as the the endless strings, you have 28 strands in your loop verses 14 in the endless loop. Yes 28 is standard for the material i use. I can't really speak to the differences in other strand counts as they are from other string material, that i have not used. The main thing i would say is make sure you get a string with .036 Majesty center serving as it will outlast other servings tenfold.
