To My Excalibur Friends

Post by Big John » Fri Feb 10, 2017 8:14 pm

I have decided to pack it in on the Custom Arrow making Business. Things have changed over the years I've been building arrows. Prices have risen, our Dollar has dropped, more people build their own, more people making Custom Arrows. There just isn't enough orders to justify buying in bulk and then waiting for orders to re-cuperate the money.
So I'm retiring from the Job. :) All is good, no hard feelings, no remorse, just time to pull the plug I think. Not fair to tell people to wait for weeks while more people order, just to buy a big order of supplies. So to all my customers "THANK YOU"! Made me feel good to accommodate you. 8) :D

I will finish up the last few orders I have then wrap it up!
So if anyone who has purchased from me needs any parts or pieces let me know and if there is any left in my room you may buy at cost.

Any money raised now is for my retirement present!!!
As soon as I sell my compound on the Trader Forum, I can get it!!! The Best Crossbow I've Seen!!! 8)

I may also be selling some Excal bow parts and pieces.

Thanks All !!!
EXCALIBUR CROSSBOW FORUM ROCKS!!!!

: I will still be here for a long time to help and play!!!

John, I have had the pleasure of shooting some of your arrows, and you do some damn good work. Economics is a hard game to play sometimes, and I know what you mean about the rising costs. I know there are a lot of folks that will miss your work!

I hear you John. With the increased proliferation of arrow and string makers, it's come to the point in which "the juice ain't worth the squeeze". On the positive side, one's acquired talents will not be wasted since one can still continue to provide for oneself.

Entirely right Lou!
I will still build my own, and for Friends, as the need to stay busy is very important to me. I hope we always stay in touch on here or by phone. Good friends are always needed!

Thanks
