Bad Day all Around

Post by xcaliber » Sun Jul 30, 2017 9:36 pm

My Wife has been suffering with digestive issues for some time, and this morning was a trip to the E.R. with low potassium again as the issue bringing on what seems to be a heart attack. Sandy is fine, but needs some serious medications, and more testing from a gastronomy physician. We get home, and I head out to the airport to pickup my youngest returning from a 4 day trip with friends, and get rear ended on the ramp leading the expressway! Destroyed my rear bumper, and right side of the truck bed is buckled. I'm not very happy right about now, but thankful that nothing too serious is upon us. Truck can be repaired, nobody injured, and my Lady is on the mend.

Thanks be to God!

Good to know you put things in perspective. We sometimes only look at things in the negative instead of how lucky we really are as the outcome could have been worse. Praying for your wifes' health and better things for you and the family to come.

Yep, the specialist appointment is for next Monday, and my truck parts will be in Monday as well. Life is good!

Sorry to hear Dan. Vehicles can be replaced. I am glad that no one was seriously hurt and the wife is on the mend.

I'm glad your wife is on the mend. Vehicle can be repaired. Thank God no one is taking a dirt nap.

Got the truck back, had to use my own insurance and wait for the other person's insurance to reimburse mine, and me. Wife is doing better, not great though. Doctor is still trying to find out what is really wrong, and what would the best course of action be. My Queen is optimistic, and to me that's the most important thing. Anyway, thanks for the well wishes, and good life advice to help me keep the right perspective.
