Lacrosse rubber boot problem

Post by sproulman » Sun Nov 19, 2017 2:18 pm

How are ya doing?I need advice hope you all can help..I have pair of Lacrosse alpha burly rubber boots great boot for walking while hunting deer.
Problem is the material inside right behind your ankle wore right down to rubber of boot.
I tried sticking tape on it but it rubs right off.

Wondering if any of you ran into this and how to patch this area.
Not patched it rubs the back of my ankle and does not feel comfortable..

thanks Sproul..

I have a pair of Ice Kings that kinked in the heal so I put a big piece of tooling leather in the back and that helped me and that was back in 98 and it is still there.

I have a pair of Mucks that had an irritating seam on the heel so I tried some Gorilla Tape and it solved the problem...3 years now but I only use these for hunting season. Make sure the boots are warm and the gorilla tape will adhere.
