Thoughts on cwd

Post by Wisconsinbadger » Tue Nov 28, 2017 11:15 pm

Just was reading some newer articles on cwd and how they have been testing primates and how they are getting positive test results from only eating 1 venison steak a month thats infected.

Do any of you guys test for cwd before you will eat your meat ?

Are any of you concerned of a possibility where it crosses over to humans like mad cow disease or any of the other animal only diseases?

General thoughts on the subject if any one has them please share. I will reseeve my answer til i hear from others.

I was watching local news last nite and there was a report on CWD on Texas white tails . They basically said it was not transferable to humans as long as you don't eat the brains. I'm sure if I knew one had it I wouldn't eat any of it though.
