if you buy it wqith the purpose of reducing vibration,and saving limbs in case of dry fire then its worth it.the xbow will always be noisy.but less with a sts.i wouldnt shoot a excalibur with out one due to possible dry fire.

well we have new update for the rocket sidewinder.theres 5 of us shooting that head .to date we have shot 4 bucks and 2 does.any thing from 40 yards to a mile plus with that one being gut shot and pushed to early. head does the job,if the hunter does his

when in dark hemloks and dark spots like a black bear,the red crosshairs will definatly help as long as it isnt to dark out.works very well in this case.also a deer in hemloks like i hunt works well.i would often put the crosshairs on ,just to see the difference.the lighted crosshairs worked best fo...

i had both the varizone and lumizone.during last 1/2 hr i turned on the scope on.i hunt dark areas and it worked well.for last 10 minutes i had to turn it off as it would take out the target. i found it easier to pull up on a deer,and see the crosshairs lite up on the deer.when not lit ,looks like t...

when you get the top thick part its about 15 minutes.but when shooting ,you cant tell when you hit them.thats why when in doubt wait it out.any gut with it 8 hrs minimum.

we had a similar one years ago with a nice 8 pointer.was liver/stomach hit with a 2" head.we tracked some after 4 hrs,and let go all night.took up trail 11am next day,and i had to shoot him again 15 hrs latter.full 2" cut through the end of the liver,.it can happen
