Re: turkey
I only use the the 125 gr 2.75" cut and have never had a turkey go more than 7-8'. The majority have died were they stood. Accuracy is excellent with these bh's. You won't be disappointed. http://www.aftershockarchery.com/hypershock.aspx?product=3 http://www.aftershockarchery.com/gobbler.aspx?p...

Re: Is He a Shooter?
I'd pass him on my place, but not knowing what your choices are, I find it hard to give advise to you. If he is the best deer you are seeing, by all means shoot him, but if you have bigger bucks on camera, let him walk. He's the biggest on cam in this area. If I get the chance, I will try to put a ...

Re: Is He a Shooter?
2 days after I set the camera in place, a large dead tree had fallen behind it knocking a bunch of brush all around the cam.crazyfarmer wrote:also, as said why is all the brush in front of the camera? The IR is bouncing off the limbs making the image really bright.

Is He a Shooter?
Would you take this feller if you had the chance? I'm thinking if he survives, next year he'll be a monster.

Re: would you shoot one?????
My first bowhunt years ago, I was really looking forward to harvesting a deer. I saw a few adults but they didn't present any quality shots. I had a fawn follow my footsteps to my treestand, stand at the base looking up at me for a couple of minutes, turned then slowly marched away. Later that eve I...

Crossbow Camera Mount
Hi Everyone,
Just wondering if there's a camera mount out there that would work on an Excal xbow? Thanks!

Flemish String Creep
Hope everyone had a great weekend! Just wondering how long it takes for a Flemish string to stop creeping? First time putting one on about a month ago. Since then I've fired it quite a bit, and adjusted it every time afterwards to where I want it. This morning I noticed it streched some more. Can an...

Re: NAP Thunderheads
Thanks very much for the imput everyone, much appreciated. When it comes to fixed blades for this deer season, I think I'll stick to slick tricks.

NAP Thunderheads
Hello Everyone, I have a question about NAP Thunderheads 125 gr. Does anyone have any experience with them out of an Excal? I have an Exocet 200 and Exomax and have an oportunity to purchase some for a decent price. Looking at them they seem better suited to be used with a compound or recurve, but I...

Good to hear. I saw them at The Bow Shop on Thurs...I'll be going in to buy a pack or two before they're gone!Bowster wrote:I was successful last year with this broadhead with my Phoenix. Severed the spine and dropped him on the spot.
From what I understand though they have been discontinued.
