want your inserts to stay in with carbon arrows?
After 60 plus years of experimenting I have found that if you use laquer thinner to clean the ends of your carbon shafts and then use JB weld you be pleasantly surprised at how effective this is. BB

Boo, would it be a good idea to put the string in your string jig to stretch it for a bit to speed up the procedure? BB

I am switching over to flemish strings but know nothing about them as far as maint. and handling as opposed to the endless loop dacron strings. would those of you that use flemish strings be so kind as to help me out with things like setting proper brace height using the scribed linew on the excalib...

You must be referring to the acudraw as opposed to the accudraw 50 which is only around 50.00 compared to 250.00+. anyway good to know it works good.

Has anyone put one of these on their excalibur? I had one on a ten point once and while I like the excal better ther convenience of the attached pulling aid is a definite advantange. thanks bb

I just purchased one of the hen avian x decoys; pricey but wow are they totally realistic. Finally someone who has solved the problem of making a realistic hen decoy. Turkeys beware!

Just a quick note to let all those following the above know that it was not really a problem with the munch mount. The problem was the retaining spring had become bent down too close to the deck requiring an excessive angle of approach for the arrows to slip under the spring to load. I bent the spri...

Thanks to everyone who helped. I have the vortex and munch mount problem solved now. It was a simple solution; just pulled off the scope and mount. This allowed me to hold down the top of the retainer spring still attached to the scope mount bracket and pull up on the retainer spring until I have ab...

if i bend the tip up won't this increase the angle of contact and make it harder to bend up and the arrow to slip under???
