Re: arrow fletching
I made my own, the nocks I have had a hole going up in the center & I screwed a 8/32 screw into the nock & then cut the head off the screw then screwed the nock onto the bolt.worked great for my Bitzenberger jig. If you send me your address by PM I'll make one for you & send it to you.

Re: video camera mount for crossbow
I'm interested in one,but havn't found one that holds the camera steady when the shot is actually made.you can never see the shot.I think it needs to be mounted near the back so theres less vibration when you shoot.

Re: New to Crossbow game! Please help!
Congratulations on the new Axiom,I also have owned the Axiom for about 2 months now & I agree its a great crossbow. I was trying to use Muzzy 125 BHs & I was having problems with the Broadhead flight. Then I refletched the firebolts with 2" Bohning Blazer vanes & now my broadheads fl...

Unusual Deer
This thought came to mind when IMACANADIAN Posted a cartoon photo by Gary Larson of a deer with a bullseye birthmark. Was wonderiing what is the most unusual deer you've ever seen. For me it was a pure Black Whitetail Buck in NJ with chocolate colored rack. He was a fine 8 ptr,I seen him about 6 yrs...

Ready Set Go
Season started Sept 10th but I havn't been out yet as I wasn't happy with my broadhead flight, Shooting Muzzy 125's. well I refletched my Bolts with 2" Bohning Blazers & that did the trick, they now they fly like my FPs every shot. I made a minor adjustment to the scope & I'm within 1/2...

Re: Couldn't find my 8 pointer
Hate to say it but same thought came to mind as IAMCANADIAN.I wont shoot over 30yds & thats the if the deer is not on alert. You have to have alot of self discipline & not take risky shots. Just think of it as a learning experience & dont take any comments personal,we've all had these le...

Bolt Nock Adapter
I was trying to fletch my bolts using my Bitzenberger Jig & Excalibur says to glue a nock onto a 8/32 screw, well that didn't work too well, the nock kept coming off the screw, maybe if I used epoxy glue it would have, but I didn't have any at the time. Then I noticed my nocks had a hole that went u...

Nice first deer, congratulations. Like they said you'll always remember the 1st deer, mine was also a button buck, shot him about 15 yds from the hunting cabin in Maine.just walked out the door & they were standing there under an apple tree next to the cabin.

Re: To catch a thief.
Good luck,I hope you nail the scumbag, Thats why I cant use trail cams because they would disappear overnight. I've had tree stands stolen that I've left in the tree. I could have stolen many tree stands if I was that kind of a person, but thats not how I operate.

Re: Help or harm you tell me
I wont hunt if I cant get my broadheads to fly to my satisfaction. Our season opened Sept 10th & I havn't been out yet, been fine tuning broadhead flight. To me there's nothing worse than wounding a animal,I hate that feeling,I'm sure we've all done it at one time,if you've never done it then you...
