Re: uncocking difficulty?
I would say its easier to uncock than to cock it. Its not hard at all, I do it all the time its better than wasting a bolt in the dirt, Excalibur has alot of good videos on their site that show a lot of good info including how to uncock. Just make sure you have a good hold of the Handle when you pul...

Re: How To Post Pictures.
I know there's been some who were having trouble posting photos myself included. So I thought a video would make it alot clearer if you could see how it's done. So I created a quick & dirty(well not too dirty rated PG) video of how easy it is to post photos on Excalibur Forum. It's on You Tube a...

Re: More blood for the Vortex
TarheelVortex you're not the only one who has trouble figuring out how to post photos. It took me awhile to figure out how to do it. When I get a chance I'm gonna see if I can make a Youtube video that will show how to post photos, like they say a picture is worth a thousand words & a video is wo...

Re: More blood for the Vortex
Outstanding Tarheel!!!! Congrats!! :D With that being said though, I gotta say that the one on your left is barely enough to make the skillet stink. Yeah but it'll melt in your mouth.I let alot of them go by in the fall, but just yesterday I was thinking I might like to shoot a couple during winter...

Re: should i wait until January 2012
If money isn't an issue I would wait till January to see if anything new and exciting comes out. Plus if nothing new comes out that grabs your wallet, I would think the prices on the old models may go down, but no guarantee that will happen. You have plenty of time before next season.

Re: It Could Happen
Congratulations,nice buck.
I was thinking about trying the Rage, but like you I've been hearing good & bad things about them.It took me awhile but I finally got my Muzzy 125s flying great,& took my first crossbow deer with it last week,so I think I'll stick with what works.

Re: No means no part 2
its guys like them that give hunters a bad name. Its one thing to sneak onto ground you dont belong on,but to actually sit in someone elses blind that takes alot of nerve. Hope everything works out for you with the land owner.

Is there a Bear In your basement?
A cable TV installer got a big surprise when he went into a North Jersey basement to work on the cable tv he heard some growling turned to find he had unwanted help in the form of a 500lb black bear.

Re: NJ Bear
The part of Jersey where we were at was beautiful... rocks ledges, hills, valleys... it was awesome! The North West part of NJ is probably the most beautiful part of the state. probably the last part that hasn't been devoured by the city.I live in South Jersey where its the suburb of Philadelphia.b...
