Stricknine Broadheads
I just bought some stricknine broadheads, on sale 3 for 10$ at a local hardware store, anyone know if their any good? thought id just buy something cheap for coyotes and fox.

I almost bought one of those williams sights yesterday till I looked at the price tag, 85$ glad to see someone else had the idea though.

Lost a couple vanes on my firebolt arrows and I found some 2"blazer vanes at the local home hardware, at what degree should I offset them?

There's a season for squirrel? Where I live small game can be hunted anytime of year anywhere, you just cant trap them.

Kinda dry fired my bow
Today I was cocking my bow with the rope cocker and just before it clicked one of the hooks came off, anyone ever have this happen? I think I relieved some of the pressure with the other hand because it didnt sound very loud, shot about 30 shots afterwards and it seemed fine.. but kinda worries me n...

Good thing my thumb doesn't reach the top of the riser.. But I know what black thumbs are, I shoe horses, hurts a ton when your thumb is where it dont belong..

Finally got time to shoot my xbow, shot about 20 shots using iron sights at 15 yards, amazed at how dead on accurate it was, an cockin without a rope was easy once I got the technique right.

I didn't quite feel comfortable with the trigger pull length of the exocet, and I wasn't too fond of the thumb hole look of the ibex but between the two is was the best to shoulder, I'm a short bugger so...

Walked into wholesale sports, they had an aluminum barrel ibex and an Exocet on display, ibex won, fit my short arms best, 436$. I love it

I'm looking into gettin an excalibur crossbow, plan to hunt mulies, elk, and black bear, never hunted with a xbow so my question is, between the 2 bows, does 25fps matter vs the extra 25lb draw. Also I live in alberta, 5-600lb black bears arent uncommon, wondering if 175# is enough if I ever got the...

First thing I noticed was the antlers and the weight, otherwise it sure as heck looks like the same buck, and 7 days is a lot of time to slick up and look good if an animal finds good feeding.
