Matrix 380 group size
This is a question only for those shooting a Matrix 380. What is your actual group size? No embellishments please. At 20 yards what size group? What's your setup? Eg. 18" Diablos with 150gr points & 1/2" group @20 yards. 2" quick spins and lumenoks. 1 1/2" group@ 60 yards. I'...

Re: this is the DEADLIEST braadhead made!!!
Hey guys. What a lot of great chat on this topic. Thank you all. And yes, ; I'm stating my opinion. Nothing more. Based on my experience...and no, I certainly don't feel like I'm being slammed. I really do appreciate all the input and for the record, I was very skeptical when I first saw this bh. Oh...

Re: this is the DEADLIEST braadhead made!!!
After years of trying more broadheads than I have time to name, I've had the opportunity to use the new Toxic Broadheads. They come in 100-125gr and after shooting 2 big Russian hogs (almost 300lbs each) and a little guy (90-100lbs) I can tell you I've never seen a blood trail like this in my 37 ye...

Re: this is the DEADLIEST braadhead made!!!
No pics of the blood trail? This is a spitfire blood trail! http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee254/Riflemanz/100_0815.jpg That's certainly some impressive blood. Unfortunately I don't have pics to post. Here are a couple things to consider: 1. I have no loyalty to any broadhead company. Quality an...

Re: Shooting rest
I don't know the actual name of the rest I use as I bought it years ago for sighting my rifles. It's red, plastic, and fully adjustable. You can find all over (wal mart, cabellas, bass pro, etc...) If memory serves correctly it was about $25-$35. Great way to eliminate the 'human' factor.

Re: heavier bolts and how to achieve them?
I believe aluminum bolts (2219) are probably the heaviest. Also, brass inserts are available and I think they weigh about 110gr.. lumenoks add weight, longer veins...not sure how heavy you're looking to go but good luck with it.

I was thinking of switching to 2" Blazers from the standard 4" that come stock on the Firebolts. Is anyone finding the helical is reducing speed? Recommendations welcome.

fletching jigs and set up??? help.
I've got a Matrix 380 and want to cut my 20" Firebolts down to 18". I use lumenoks and I'm waiting for my heavy brass inserts so I can shoot my 100gr toxic broadheads. I was thinking of trying 2"blazers. I currently use a Bitzenburger jig. How much offset should I have? Is there a fas...

Re: Best deals on 380's in Canada right now?
I just bought the Matrix 380 at Boorman Archery in New Westminster, British Columbia for $1099.00+tx. That was with the tac zone scope, rope cocking aid, and 4 diablo bolts & points.
