Re: Full Disclosure - Bad Shots - Lost Deer
I shot an 8 point buck this year in the late season. Looked like a good shot about 4 inches behind the elbow and mid body. I used a razor trick BH and gave the deer some time before I started to track. There was minimum blood as I shot it from a ground blind and so both holes were level. I wound up ...

You're right on that account. I also shake my head at smoked 'em,wasted him, wacked him. You stopped the deers heart by blood loss or trauma. You killed it. but to each their own...

Re: F.C.A.SAYS CROSSBOWS NOT WELCOME...O/T
If they were in a separate class, why couldn't they compete? I don't think the O.P. meant for crossbows to go head to head with vertical recurves or compound bows?? I also don't think any 3 d shoot allows anything but off hand shooting in competition unless things have changed a lot since I attended...

Re: Deer Ducking Arrow Facts
Another factor is whether a deer is on full alert or just browsing or walking through. I always aim for the bottom part of a deer. If it doesn't react , it's a heart shot . If it drops, still a good chance to make a clean kill in the lungs. If you misjudged the yardage, chances are it will result in...

Nice rig!
Where I live they have outlawed killing wolves and 'yotes. There are a ton of them and I have a 257 Weatherby mag just begging to get out.

Re: My turn to scream!!!
Congrats, you will love this bow.
When I first saw it back in December, I thought, Hmm, nice kids bow.
Then I shouldered it and it fit so nice,I bought it.
Something that compact just shouldn't fit so good.
P.S. I'm six feet tall...
