Re: How Many Arrows Do You Carry Afield?
I carry my 4 arrow quiver on my pack. I am going to make myself a
"Double Stack" quiver. It will hold 8 + 1.

Re: Sharpening Devices
I have the Work Sharp KO edition and i really like it. It takes some practice, on old blades, to use it properly which is why its not for everyone. I sharpen my pocket knives, to my 16" bowie and everything in between. I have "User Knives" which are not expensive but are not cheap. BT...

It is 54 degrees at my house this morning but is supposed to get in the 80's today. Rain has finally quit for awhile. Turkeys were in my yard and deer were in the pasture yesterday evening. Season begins Sept. 15th. Have to get my land owner permits this week. Fall Turkey season begins Oct. I usuall...

I hunt state land in CT and usually have a mile or two hike from the truck. By the time I recover a deer, gut the deer, drag it to the truck and drive it to a c...

Re: Hot weather deer hunting help
Skin and gut deer as soon as possible and put in ice chest.I leave the plug in mine and drain it about every day for 5 or 6 days until water comes out clear.I let the meat bleed out so to speak. I think the meat tastes better that way.The main thing is to cool it down as quick as possible. This is ...
