Re: Evercalm
Could be, but it last longer on my boots, and I use it as I walk in to my stand. I have had deer walk right across my path stop and smell and continue with no panic. Plus, it's much easier to use and I don't get it all over me lol.

Re: Buying cheap arrows
I bought a lot of 2219 cheap and that's my hunting arrows. Cut at 17 in with aluminium flat nocks mad 150 bhs. Weight comes in at 455 and they fly great. Look on eBay or craigslist and you'll find them.

Re: How much money are you sending downrange?
Well I shoot 2219's which I bought as part of a package of other archery items for 100 bucks. Part of that package include inserts and I bought aluminium flat nocks for 50 cents a piece and I have some razorback 5 brand nephew broadheads which were free. So I guess I'm at a 1.50 per arrow and that i...

Re: Illinois max weight limit
Just bought my cub and wondered why that had a limit. However, after shooting my cub with a matrix sting(200lbs) I don't see the need to go any higher. My cub shoot dead nuts out to 50 yards and I'm sure if I wanted to go farther I could' but I don't plan on shooting a deer past 40 yards, let alone 5...

Re: Carbon VS Aluminum Shaft
Just got don't sighting in my cub with both carbon and 2219's. Did the actual sighting in with the fire lots the cub came with, then shot the 2219's and they hit a tad lower but not enough to to worry about. The reason I like the aluminium is they are cheaper and I have plenty of them, but most impo...

Was out today shooting my grizzly cub and it's set. I'm using the stock three dot that it came with and its sighted in top dot 0 to 30, second dot is 40yards and the third dot is 50 yards. I used the stock carbon 18 inch bolts 350 gr it came with and my aluminiums 2219's the weigh 100 gr more at 455...

Re: Game Cart Help
Which ever cart you get the secret is to replace the wheels and go with the largest you can find. My buddy put 24 in wheels on his cart and wheeling a deer out is a piece of cake. The wheels are the key.

Re: DIY Fletching?
So far I haven't notice any problem, but as you mentioned I haven't shot bhs at any great distance. Looks like I need to get a new fletching jig.

Inserts work, you can take a deburring tool to make smooth. I will use inserts when I run out of aluminium mocks.

Re: So how to build my 2117's
I see everyone adding heavy inserts, why no just use a 200 gr BH or a 175 with standard insert? is it the size if BH your trying to keep small?
