Re: luminoks
Squaring the shaft just means you are removing a very small amount material from the end of the shaft to make it perfectly straight or "square". There are tools that make it very simple. G5 makes one, and Lumenok makes their own squaring tool also, that's the one I use and it works great....

Re: luminoks
Something else to keep in mind if you practice a lot with the luminoks and carbon shafts... the small wires that make contact with the end of the shaft and complete the circuit will eventually put little dents in the edge of the shaft, so occasionally squaring the ends of the shafts may be necessar...

Re: luminoks
You need to give the lumenoks a good whack to properly seat them and turn them on. You may be seeing partial contact on some making the batteries seem weak. X2 I saw yesterday some noks were brighter than other noks, (i didn't shoot them yet). So i think you guys are right about this. I didn't know...

Re: Is This Really Archery Hunting?
Airbow is the wrong word for this product. It is just an airgun shooting arrows. It is not a bow.
But if you want shooting arrows with a gun....it's almost the same like shooting with a hunting rifle. I don't see the benifits of it.

luminoks
Some questions about the luminok bolts.... I ordered 6 normal firebolt, but i did get 6 firebolt luminok instead. 1. Do they have the same flight (point of impact) as the normal firebolt? 2. Some batteries are allready low. Is there a kind of warranty on this? 3. It is a special kind of battery - ca...

Re: reticles in the rain
Try changing the battery I do not think it is rain related,I thought something was wrong with my twilight scope but a battery change was all it needed . Thanks for your idea about it but it's not the case. I have changed the battery 2 times (to be sure) for new ones, but it still does happening. Th...

reticles in the rain
I use my Tactzone scope and when i'm shooting with a little bit of rain - my reticles doesn't light up anymore. Or just one colour badly. Back to home the red was coming back and the day after the green was also back. This happened more than once. Can i do something about this? It seems to be that w...

Re: 3 questions
Back to the 'foc'- story..
For example:
If i use 20 inch firebolts and remove the aluminium insert and replace it for a 100 grain brass insert in combination with a 125 grain spitfire.
Is this a good combination or is the front to heavy for the arrow now and better take a 100 grain broadhead....

3 questions
Beïng a beginner in the crossbowworld, i have a few (3) simple questions... I was reading this line on the forum: 'For correct foc, you use a heavy insert up front or a heavy broadhead and not both.' Question 1: what means FOC? I see this a lot on this forum, but don't know where this stands for...(...

Re: Are You Tough Enough?
I've never tried it, but i pull a 660 lbs deadlift at the gym - so it shouldn't be a problem. (with gloves offcourse)
Looking to this, i hope for a 500 lbs excalibur in the future, with 700 fps!

Re: Can i buy a Excalibur Matrix 405 Mega without problems?
Some people are talking about 405-limb-problems 3 times after-each-other (and use the right brace height, using a 400 grain bolt or more), so i think it is not a small percentage. I believe the Bulldog is made (it replaces the 405 in fact) because there was to much trouble with the 405. The new ris...

Re: About inserts...
Thank you, BoB. So, does it begin with 28 grains and this is going up by 15 grain a time? I don't know what 'brass' means.... Can i pull the insert of the firebolt out by doïng a screw in it and pull it out? And do i have to glue the new insert in the bolt? Or is it tight enough. Dumb questions...i ...
