Re: Tuff Gettin Old!
Vix, i try to be a venison freezer half full kinda guy.. you gotta find a silver lining & i see 2 in your situation: 1. you remembered where your stand was! 2. if you cut your chores in half cuz you can't do them in the same time as 5 years ago, then you have to spend twice as much time at camp!...

Re: Replaced a new Twilight DLX
i spose it is entirely possible that i returned a perfectly fine scope to be replaced. well, i now know it is possible & will check it if this ever happens again. i will also check my scope to be sure the illumination is off when i put it away. thanks.

Replaced a new Twilight DLX
Santa brought me a micro 335 with a Twilight DLX scope for christmas. Everything was working fine but last week when i had to take it out again for a daydream hunt only the green illumination was working, not the red. I could easily have lived with that but when you pay almost $800 for something it ...

Re: Dry Fire
Newbie, i just read the micro 355 pics thread & see what you mean. lots of posts, very few pics. kinda a sad commentary on humanity but, you know, for a retired guy in a warm winter with no ice on his favorite fishing lakes, it beats what's on TV! Cup of coffee, couple xmas cookies, another log ...

Re: Let's hear about X mas gifts
i had retrievers most of my adult life. i hunted upland birds but really got after waterfowl. most uniques dogs i had were curly-coated retrievers. not very flashy but tough coats and very quiet when jump shooting. anyway, that's why i'm such a rookie when it comes to archery.

Re: Let's hear about X mas gifts
An excellent Xmas here! Surprised my son with a 335 micro last night (xmas day is spent with his wife's family). Liked his bow so much I had santa get me a 335 nightmare! Between trips to his sister-in-law and his wife's parents we snuck away, assembled our bows & fired a few bolts. My 2 shots w...
