Yesterday I went out and purchased a new Vortex crossbow. The shop did not have the Lumi-zone scope in stock so I will have to wait a few days to pick up crossbow.
I turn 65 in May and season deer season starts in September so I hope to get a deer on opening day. Cant wait.

You picked the right one. I have one and I love it. Especially the thumb hole stock. Just remember to always check you have an arrow on the rail and keep your fingers below the rail.

I have a Vortex as well. I found it sooooooo much easier to get set up and sighted in than the compound bows I'd been shooting before I tore my shoulder up.

I have exact same bow. You will love it. Every time I shoot my Vortex I am blown away by the accuracy and power. Enjoy.
