New Vortex owner

Post by michaelrbauer »

Yesterday I went out and purchased a new Vortex crossbow. The shop did not have the Lumi-zone scope in stock so I will have to wait a few days to pick up crossbow.
I turn 65 in May and season deer season starts in September so I hope to get a deer on opening day. Cant wait.

Welcome to the family :D You picked the right one. :) I have one and I love it. Especially the thumb hole stock. Just remember to always check you have an arrow on the rail and keep your fingers below the rail. If you don't, believe me you won't do it again. If you have any questions just ask and you will get the answers here.Good luck with your new xbow.
I am a hunter and proud of it.

I'm leaning toward exactly the same purchase at about the same age.

I have a Vortex as well. I found it sooooooo much easier to get set up and sighted in than the compound bows I'd been shooting before I tore my shoulder up.
